St. John Talent Agency was established in the early eighties.As work
with the Innercity Kids came to a close, it was a natural process
how Wayne evolved from a Kid's Band Manager into a talent agency
business after being around so much talent in the twenty five
kids who came through Innercity kids over a period of six years.
Wayne and the Innercity Kids helped David Blackmore to establish
the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre on Parliament Street in
the eighties. The Centre is bustling with kids from all walks

has engaged a variety of acts for radio and television commercials,
print ad work and live corporate events. The agency is now focused
more on choirs and corporate events. Another focus is introducing
new or young people to the Jingle industry. Robert Armes of the
Armes Group who has sung on more commercials in this town than
anyone, calls Wayne, 'The Patron Saint of Jingle Singers'. Sounds
offbeat perhaps but Wayne single handedly has introduced more
individuals to ACTRA memberships than any other singer in town.
